Legacy Giving

One of the most meaningful and tax-effective ways you can support the TO Live Foundation is through a gift in your will. Investment in the future of our city, and inspire generations to come through the transformative power of the arts.

Become a Monthly Donor

Sign up as a monthly donor and support the development and delivery of free arts-based community classes and workshops for everyone. By becoming a monthly donor, you are joining a community that is working together to make the arts more accessible.

We’re Making Space.

At TO Live, we’re handing over the microphone and making space for those who have historically been left out of the arts community, specifically Black and Indigenous People of Colour.

We’re supporting artists when they need it most.

TO Live works to build partnerships with artists that support their practice, showcase their work and keep the art community vibrant and diverse.

We’re making the arts more accessible.

TO Live provides free and accessible Community and Outreach programs to people of all ages, in order to grow and further develop the arts community in Toronto.

About the TO Live Foundation

The TO Live Foundation is a registered charity that raises funds to support TO Live’s mission to build a better city through the arts. Donating to the TO Live Foundation is an investment in the artists and cultural fabric of Toronto, and helps TO Live commission new works, offer free community programming, and provide local creatives with rehearsal space and research grants.

Since it was created in 2018, the Foundation has supported over 1,000 artists through provision of space, residencies, research grants, and presentations, and invested over $2 million in artists and partnerships. Thanks to the generosity of donors and corporate partners, the Foundation is making space for creative expression reflective of Toronto’s diversity and helping to ensure people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy the arts for years to come.

Invest in the TO Live Foundation. Invest in the future of Toronto.

For decades, TO Live’s three iconic venues have welcomed thousands of guests from around the world to enjoy remarkable experiences--from plays to stand-up comedy to jazz concerts by local indie artists, internationally-acclaimed companies, and everyone in between.

Each year, over 500,000 people visit TO Live venues to enjoy over 1,000 performances, events and workshops. Through our original programming, access to facilities, and myriad community partnerships, the TO Live Foundation will:

  • Empower Toronto’s creative diversity, supporting marginalized voices with commissions, residencies, and access to facilities. TO Live produces world-class programming across seven stages and three venues.

  • Grow artistic potential by providing the resources to scale productions and elevate talent. We offer resources, spaces, and digital platforms.

  • Ensure the arts are accessible to all. TO Live offers free programming that ensures inclusivity of all economic levels: free drop-in classes, subsidized tickets, and school programs. We engage new and young audiences through creative outlets and learning.

3 Venues. 1 Community. Countless Experiences. Together we are TO Live.
